Pardeep
Justice has finally come to our country! 1947, and our hundreds of years of enslavement, our country is free. Louis Mountbatten has given us our freedom. He announced the partitioning of England and India. Gandhi has helped lead our efforts and we now have what we've been fighting for this whole time, our independence. (Pardeep-1947).

England has been supressing our country for too long. Last week The Queen and U.S.A.'s president Obama came to Ireland. We had special plans for the both of them. Our troops planted car bombs and coffee jar bombs, hoping to make the officials visits an unforgettable one. Unfortunatly, the PSNI caught on to our schemes and disarmed our bombs. Next time, we hope to scare the visitors and raise awareness of our cause. (Craig, 2011).

Or branch of the IRA has struck once again. It was all over the news today, that another car bombing has occured in Belfast. This morning we placed a carbomb under a northern police officer's partner's car. It exploded when she started to put her car in reverse. I do not think that the police know we are responsible yet, but soon enough we be recognized . Untill that day comes, and we are able to spread our message around, we will keep actively protesting against tyrannical England. (craig- october 16, 2009)

As I have told you before we have recruited a new leader that will help with our non-violent protest, his name is Mahatma Gandhi. Gandhi is a wonderful leader! Yesterday he lead our first non-violent protest against the british. He called this the Salt march, because we marched in order to protest the british salt tax. Before we embarked on this 240 mile march from Sabarmati to Dandi, Gandhi personally sent a letter Vicero himself. In the letter Gandhi stated, "If my letter makes no appeal to your heart, on the eleventh day of this month I shall proceed with such co-workers of the Ashram as I can take, to disregard the provisions of the Salt Laws. I regard this tax to be the most iniquitous of all from the poor man's standpoint. As the Independence movement is essentially for the poorest in the land, the beginning will be made with this evil."
Thank you Gandhi for being a such motivated and fearless leader and leading our civil disobediance. (pardeep-March 12, 1930)

The IRA movement started a long time ago. British were imperializing a lot of countries, including Ireland. That's when a group of Irish started a movement. They called their organization the Irish Republican Army. We have been devoted to fighting for our independence and won't stop till we get it. The original IRA was a group of volunteers who staged the Easter uprising in 1916. The IRA lead the Irish Independence War. The IRA, and different branch groups broke off with different threat levels, but with the same intentions. Our specific group branched off of the Real IRA. We go back to our Irish roots and call ourselves by our Gaelic name, Oglaigh na hEireann.(Craig, 2011)

Greetings,
My colleges and I have met a man who goes my Gandhi. He claims to have led a non-violent movement in south africa that was successful. They abolished anti-Indian laws. He came back to India and we have recruited him to help us with lead in the non-violent revolution to gain power back from Britain. The year is 1920, and we hope to have India back in power by 1922. I was in Eastern India when I first heard of Gandhi's work. I heard he got a group to non-violent protesters and they tried to protest. Unfortunatly, the British army broke them up. With enough citizens, we can really make headlines, and gain India their independence. I think this can help us in our efforts and really move the government to gain independence. People around me are speaking about Gandhi as well. All of India is trying to gain independence. The Indian Brigade is using forcefull violence. we hope to use non-violence, and succede. So far our efforts are not showing any result.

Hello future reader,
I am Pardeep Calcutta and I am from Mumbai (Bombay), India. I am creating this journal to teach future protesters of the ways of non-violent protesting. Yes, I am against India being taken over by England, but I do not believe in using violence as a way to get my way. I also cannot let a record develop, for I am a merchant on week days. I, and my fellow Indian citizens hope to take all British control out of the government by the year 1922. My friends and I have heard of a political leader working in south africa, who has done non-violent protests before. We hope to get help from him as soon as possible. -Pardeep (1920)

We don’t mean to cause harm, but sometimes, violence is the only way to gain attention. My Northern and Republic Irish friends all believe England has been in control of Ireland for too long. Being in the 21st century, and still having control over an independent nation is barbaric. From our secret headquarders in Belfast, my brothers and I will plan extensive schemes against the British Royal Army, as well as the Police Service of Northern Ireland.
