Craig
The IRA movement started a long time ago. British were imperializing a lot of countries, including Ireland. That's when a group of Irish started a movement. They called their organization the Irish Republican Army. We have been devoted to fighting for our independence and won't stop till we get it. The original IRA was a group of volunteers who staged the Easter uprising in 1916. The IRA lead the Irish Independence War. The IRA, and different branch groups broke off with different threat levels, but with the same intentions. Our specific group branched off of the Real IRA. We go back to our Irish roots and call ourselves by our Gaelic name, Oglaigh na hEireann.(Craig, 2011)

ReplyDeleteThe characters in your topic are similar to the characters in our topic because they all were fighting and devoted to something that they believed in. The people in the IRA movement in Great Britain were devoted to fighting for their independence while the people in our topic, WW2, were devoted to fighting for justice.

This can relate to Al Qaeda because they were fighting for their independence and won't stop until they get it.
